Behind the chapel of St Ladislav on the slope of Josip Šćuric is a well where, according to tradition, the Mother of God washed her feet.
Around 1950 a pilgrim came to Milan Šćuric whose house is located above the escarpment, and asked him where the well is in which the Mother of God washed her feet, because he came with his whole family to wash themselves in that well, pilgrim's family was instructed by their old grandmother who washed  herself in that well every time she came to Marija Bistrica as a young girl.

Milan had heard that somewhere there has been a fountain, but did not know the story about it and Mary. He told the pilgrim to go get his family while he looked around  for the well.

According to the description he immediately found the well that was covered by branches and covered with stone slabs. He cleared the area around the well, and when he removed the stones he found water in it.

Shortly thereafter came the pilgrims, who drank the water and washed their faces. After a rest and refreshment they went along with prayers and hymns to the church of Mary.
