Girls dressed up in local national costumes will greet you and offer honey-biscuits, mead, gvirc (traditional alcoholic drink made of honey), gingerbread hearts and one of characteristic souvenirs of Marija Bistrica handmade in oldcraft workshops or modern ones.
Old crafts: gingerbread makers, potters, wooden toy makers, makers of wooden crosses.
Makers of modern souvenirs produce sacral souvenirs made of plaster.
