The Club of Old-Fashioned Pistols "Marija Bistrica " was founded 26th April 2003 in Marija Bistrica. Today it counts 42 members.
The area of work of the club is: protection of the origin, development and preservation of the tradition of Easter pistol shooting, charishment and continuity of the old tradition, organisation of folk events and promotion of tourism. It follows the tradition of pistol shooting of counts and barons from 1643 until modern days.
The members of the club participated in lot of events throughout the country. One of them was in Varaždin when they were guests on the 825th anniversary of Varaždin County in 2006. This year they were also in Koprivnica at the celebration of 650th birthday of Koprivnica Town and the First Renaissance Festival "Koprivnica 2006."
They traditionally participate in the following events throughout the year:

-    "Gregurevo" in Požega ( St. Gregur's Day )
-    "Flower Sunday" – The Way of Cross Marija Bistrica
-    Guarding Christ's grave – Marija Bistrica
-    Easter celebration in Marija Bistrica
-    Festival "žudija" – Knin, Metković (this festival is held in different town on Adriatic coast every year, but in 2023 it will be held in Marija Bistrica)
-    "Sv. Juraj" in Gornja Stubica ( St. George's Day )
-    Midieval fair at Konjščina
-    "Dani Rudija Perešina" in Gornja Stubica ( Days of Rudi Perešin )
-    The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ – procesion in Marija Bistrica
-    "Smotra kuburaša Krapinsko - zagorske županije" - it is organised in different town inside of the Krapinsko -zagorska County every year. ( A Show of Old- Fashion Pistol Shooting of Krapinsko-zagorska County )
-    "Križevačka spravišća" in Križevci ( Križevci Folklore Fair )
