Specific cross-borders objectives of the operation
The primary purpose of the project is to develop a model of cooperation between partners, based on social responsibility for cultural heritage. We want to revive and complete experiential knowledge of the elderly and prepare them for voluntary work in museums and museum collections. Furthermore, we want to enable museum workers, managers of museum collections to understand the scope and nature of organized volunteering of the elderly in the culture. Integrating cultural and tourist destinations in the programme area in the common cultural and tourist attractions on international markets.
The specific objectives of the operation:
-    designing a programme and realization of volunteer training in the field of cultural and natural heritage,
-    raising awareness of professional volunteer work in non-traditional areas, including culture,
-     to enable permanent transfer of knowledge in the natural and cultural heritage,
-    a link and a joint promotion of heritage in a common web site, a multilingual catalogue and info points,
-    reduce the deficit of professional staff in museums in the target area,
-    to contribute to preservation of the European cultural heritage.

Added value of IPA funding
The project includes partners from less developed parts of the legitimate NUTS3 areas where there was a need to introduce volunteers to the activity of preserving natural and cultural heritage.
The IPA co-financing partners in the project will gain the possibility of establishing a common training programme for the transfer of knowledge in the field of natural and cultural heritage. Participants of the education will meet the natural and cultural heritage of the entire project area. It encourages citizens to the study of languages, history and civilization of their own country and neighbouring countries.
Together with the completed multilingual catalogue of natural and cultural heritage and a common website, which includes both a catalogue and educational materials, we will: promote the common development of cooperation in the field of heritage, increase the offer of cultural tourism, improve the joint protection of natural and cultural heritage.
The Cult PRO info points that will be established during the project will work even after the completion of the project for all partners and will be the hub information for volunteers, caretakers of the natural and cultural heritage, random visitors, tourist operators and other interested people.
