Nativity Scene of Marija Bistrica

"Navity scene" originated from the idea of Sister Samuela Premužić and was formatted by Gingerbread and candle craft and souvenir shop "Mahmet“ in Marija Bistrica in 2009.
Navitiy scene from Bistrica was the part of 34th International exhibition of Navity scenes in Rome, Piazza del Popolo, Sale del Bramante „100 presepi“ (100 navitiy scenes) from 27th November 2009 to 6th January 2010 which achieved great interest by the public and the media.
During the Christmas holidays 2009 Navity scene of Bistrica decorated Basilica of Virgin Mary in Marija Bistrica.
Tourist board of Krapina-Zagorje County awarded " Nativity Scene of Bistrica" first prize in the category of souvenirs.
Souvenir " Nativity Scene of " is available in different sizes, made from natural materials and gingerbread hearts and it is exposed in Gingerbread and candle craft and souvenir shop "Mahmet“ in Marija Bistrica on the Square of Pope John Paul II.
