Jazz evening in Marija Bistrica
On Saturday 21st January Bebop sax quartet organized the third evening of Jazz with Saxophone at the Bluesun Hotel Kaj in Marija Bistrica. With Bebop sax quartet composed of :

Christmas Concert
On 26th December 2011. in the home of culture in Marija Bistrica a traditional Christmas Concert of Cultural and Artistic Society "Lovro Ježek” was held starting at 17.00 pm.
Santa Claus on the bistrica square
On Sunday 18th December as a part of the "Advent in Marija Bistrica" on the square of Pope John Paul II, Santa Claus shared candies.

"NEWCOMERS"
On the 08th of October 2011 in Marija Bistrica was hosted the show of the National Theatre in Varaždin with Ljubomir Kerekes "Newcomers".The author, director and production designer of the show is Ljubomir Kerekes, with him starring Draško Zidar and Mijo Pavelko. Kerekes found his inspiration from the "Decameron" by Giovanni Boccaccio, and the audience was amused by mocking male - female relationships.
OPENING OF Marian Pilgrimage
On the 7th October 2011. in Marija Bistrica was held the opening of Marian pilgrimage. The program took place in the Basilica of Mary, along with numerous guests and Slovenian and Croatian partners in the project.
