CLEANING AND MARKING
Hunting Club "Pheasant" - group Poljanica on Sunday, 13th May 2012. is organizing cleaning forests and illegal dumping. Start is from Vinski Vrh at 07:00 am o'clock.
Mountaineering Club "Grohot" is organizing marking of the brown walkway, and cleaning the same. Gathering is on the Square of Pope John Paul II at 14:00 pm.

38th Zagreb Delta Rally
On 27th and 28th April 2012 in the area of Marija Bistrica was held the first competition this season, 38 Zagreb Delta Rally.
CLEANING ACTION
On Saturday, 21st April 2012. the children of the kindergarten "PUŠLEK" MarijaBistrica, students from primary school of Marija Bistrica and hikers and climbers from "Grohot" MarijaBistrica gathered on the square of Pope John Paul II. for participation in the occasion to clean the environment for the Earth Day. In Tugonica gathered the members of the DVD Podgrađe-Tugonica. After cleaning, the participants were honored for their efforts with sandwiches and juice.
Association of young adults "MARY BISTRICA"
On March 31st 2012. Youth Association in Marija Bistrica was founded. Association chose Stjepan Habazin for president, Velimir Cipriš Vice President and Secretary Josip Klapač.
Bistrica Easter Eggs
On Tuesday, March 27th on the Square of Pope John Paul II. was placed a traditional Easter Egg by the late sculptor Pavao Hudek.
MARATHON OF PILGRIMAGE
On Saturday, 31st March 2012. was organized the first pilgrimage marathon from Kaptol to Marija Bistrica through Medvednica.
SOUVENIR DESTINATION - WELLNESS 3 +
For the selection of the best souvenir Wellness 3 + destination there were 108 reported souvenirs, of which 59 from Slovenia, and 49 from Croatian.
